You’ll be able to see a NASA rocket launch from parts of N.J. - NJ.com

If you live near the Jersey Shore, you might be able to see a rocket launch Sunday afternoon from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

NASA is set to launch a Northrop Grumman Antares rocket, sending a cargo ship of supplies and equipment to the International Space Station orbiting Earth.

The launch is scheduled for 5:39 p.m. EST, according to WFF’s launch tracking website.

People in Monmouth County to Cape May County should be able to see the launch within a minute to three minutes of liftoff, weather permitting.

The launch will be Northrop Grumman’s 13th services resupply mission, sending information on scientific investigations to the space station.
